Terms of Use and Marketplace Terms
1. Who operates Wivvr
Wivvr Marketplace is operated under the trading name Wivvr.
Operator identity details are published at Operator information.
2. How to contact Wivvr
Contact: support@wivvr.co.uk.
3. Scope of these Terms
These Terms apply to visitors, buyers, and sellers using Wivvr Marketplace websites and platform tools.
4. Eligibility and accounts
Certain actions (including checkout, order messaging, and seller tools) require an account.
Checkout delivery coverage currently supports Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales).
5. Marketplace role
Wivvr provides marketplace services, including listing tools, storefront presentation, checkout routing, and order-support workflows.
6. Buyers
Buyers can browse public storefronts and products, place orders, and use order, messaging, and return-request tooling where available.
7. Private sellers
Where a purchase is made from a private individual, some statutory consumer protections that apply to trader-to-consumer sales may not apply in the same way.
Private-seller classification does not automatically publish personal home address, personal email, or personal phone details to buyers.
8. Business sellers
Where a purchase is made from a seller acting as a business/trader, additional statutory consumer rights may apply.
For business sellers, Wivvr may show designated trader identity and public business contact details in buyer-facing storefront, product, and checkout contexts.
9. Listings and product information
Sellers are responsible for listing accuracy, lawful sales, and compliance with platform rules including prohibited-item restrictions.
10. Prices and payment
Prices are set by sellers unless clearly stated otherwise. Buyer payment processing is handled through Stripe checkout flows integrated by Wivvr.
Proceeding to checkout creates an obligation to pay the order total shown.
11. Wivvr fees and subscriptions
Wivvr may charge merchants platform fees and/or subscriptions depending on plan and store setup.
Current fee/plan presentation is shown in seller-facing pricing and plan interfaces. Do not rely on outdated screenshots or third-party summaries.
12. Delivery and tracking
Delivery handling and tracking updates are provided through seller fulfillment tools and order updates.
13. Returns, cancellations, and refunds
Wivvr provides operational return and issue flows (including a current 30-day platform return-request window and change-of-mind workflow guidance).
Platform workflow windows do not remove statutory rights that apply by law.
14. Reviews and content
Reviews and user content must follow platform standards. Wivvr may moderate, remove, or restrict content that breaches policy or law.
15. Messaging and conduct
Order messaging tools must not be used for abuse, fraud, harassment, or unlawful activity.
16. Prohibited and restricted products
Listings must comply with UK law and platform restrictions in Prohibited items.
17. Intellectual property
Users must have rights to content they upload. Wivvr may remove infringing content and respond to rights-holder reports.
18. Suspension and removal
Wivvr may restrict listings, payouts, features, or accounts where reasonably required for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, payment risk, or serious policy breaches.
19. Availability and platform changes
Wivvr may change features, availability, or workflows for security, technical, legal, or operational reasons.
20. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation and liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
Wivvr is responsible for its own platform services. Seller-supplied goods and listing accuracy remain the seller's responsibility subject to applicable law.
21. Statutory rights
Consumers keep statutory rights. These Terms do not remove rights that apply under law.
22. Complaints
Use Customer care first for platform complaints and support escalation.
23. ADR where applicable
Wivvr does not claim participation in a specific ADR scheme in these Terms. If Wivvr is required by law or contract to use ADR or another complaint-resolution arrangement, relevant details will be provided as required.
24. Changes to these Terms
Wivvr may update these Terms. Updated versions are published on this page with a new last-updated date.
25. Current policy versions
Marketplace Terms version: 2026-09-04. Privacy Notice version: 2026-09-04.
26. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by applicable UK law as relevant to the user relationship. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory protections or court access rights available to consumers in their home UK jurisdiction.
27. Contact and operator information
See Operator information and contact support@wivvr.co.uk.
